Chunghua Rd. circa late 50’s. I remember walking through this area in the late 80s.
You could by 10 for 100 music cassettes, electronic gear, patches, and the very first 5.25″ copy software.

Cool photo from the late ‘60. I think this photo is from one of the military guys.
photo credit to be added later.

Nanjing W. Rd. food court. I lived nearby this area for 3 years. The brown building to right
(former police station) has been torn down and the nightmarket on that street on the top right
has been re-vitalized. This food court was replaced by a $6M dollar white elephant (building) now closed.
Right down the street to the left where the bus passed is a marker for where the 228 incident started.

Jenai Circle. The brown building in the center use to house the first Eslite bookstore in the basement.
The building to the left of the circle had a Wendy’s in it for the longest time.
On the bottom right corner was the long standing Classmate bookstore, now closed.

I believe this is the staduim that use to be on Nanjing E. Rd. Now replaced by the Westin Hotel.
As I remember, Michael Jackson was the last person to perform here.

Dunhua N. Road. Taipei looking north towards the domestic airport.
Minsheng E. Rd. is in the middle.
